For his contributions to the development of corporate Nigeria, Ernest Ebi, Chairman, Board of Directors, Fidelity Bank Plc, has been named winner of the coveted 2017 Zik Award for Professional Leadership.
The Zik Leadership awards is organised Public Policy Research and Analysis Centre (PPRAC) and was instituted 24 years ago in honour of the first President of Nigeria, Late Dr. Nnamdi Azikwe, primarily to encourage and nurture leadership on the African Continent and in the Diaspora.
The winners were formally announced at a special press conference which took place in Lagos on the 8th of February, 2018. Meanwhile in a signed letter by the Professor Pat Utomi, Chairman, selection committee, Mr. Ebi was chosen on account of his “outstanding contributions to the development and growth of the Banking and Financial Services Industry and unblemished record of service as a banker of international repute”.
The award ceremony is scheduled to place on Sunday April 15, 2018 at the Civic Centre, Ozumba Mbadiwe Road, Victoria Island, Lagos.
