Fidelity Bank recently constructed and commissioned nine giant bins to collate recyclable waste such as plastics, bottles and cans for regular pickup by Wecyclers at select secondary schools.
The project was designed to foster a culture of cleanliness and waste recycling by secondary school students as well as to encourage them to be ambassadors of recycling in their communities. The project aligns with the global net zero emission and war against single-use plastic campaigns.
The beneficiary schools under this project include Falomo Junior and Senior High Schools (Location-Falomo, Ikoyi), Ireti Junior and Senior High Schools (Location-Falomo Ikoyi), Government Junior & High Schools (Location-Victoria Island, Lagos), Girls Junior and Senior Secondary Grammar Schools (Location-Ikoyi Obalende), and Boys Junior Academy (Location-Lagos island).
