Fidelity Private Banking Hosts Kids Coding Boot Camp

Fidelity Bank’s Private Banking Division is set to hold a Kids Coding Boot Camp, as part of its empowerment programme. The Boot Camp is a 5-day training programme that provides participants with a foundation upon which to build their careers as computer programmers and tech entrepreneurs.

It is expected to be a great time of learning, creativity and fun as children will gather at the Private Banking Office in Ikoyi, Lagos to learn how to write code, create apps, and make games whilst also developing competitive skills to assist them in today’s rapidly changing environment.

The camp admits children between the ages of 10 to 17 years, and will be run in two streams for a period of two weeks. The first stream will hold from Tuesday, April 3 to Saturday, April 7, 2018. On the other hand, the second
Monday, April 9 to Friday, April 13, 2018.

This 5-day training program is specially geared towards preparing children for software development, software optimization and solution design; thus enabling kids with little or no coding experience understand coding concepts
and immediately apply these skills to their academic and daily interactions.
