In demonstration of its leadership in the Sustainability space, Fidelity Bank Plc emerged the first Nigerian Bank to adopt the ISSB newly introduced IFRS S1 and S2 Disclosure Standards having successfully published its Report for the Financial year 2023 in compliance with the provisions of the Standards on 30th June 2024. The report provides insights into the Bank’s Governance, Strategy, Risk Management, Metrics and Targets around Sustainability and Climate-related risks and opportunities during the 2023 financial year. 

At the BusinessDay and Other Financial Institutions’ (BAFI) Awards 2023, Fidelity Bank Plc was honored as the Export Finance Bank of the Year, reaffirming our dominance in the export sector. 

In the 2023 KPMG Banking Industry Customers Satisfaction Survey report, our commitment to supporting Nigerian MSMEs was recognized, with Fidelity Bank securing 5th place in SME, Corporate, and Retail Banking—a remarkable seven-place improvement. 

The Development Bank of Nigeria awarded Fidelity Bank the title of Partner Financial Institution with the Highest Impact on Startups, showcasing our significant support for the startup sector. 

In recognition of Fidelity Bank Plc’s commitment to fostering bilateral trade and economic development between the city of Houston, Texas and Nigeria, the Mayor of the City of Houston has designated October 25 as “Fidelity International Trade and Creative Connect Day”. This recognition highlights the global impact and benefits of our commitment to fostering SME growth and development. 

In April 2023, our Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe, was honored with the Best Banking CEO Nigeria 2023 award at the Global Banking & Finance Awards.
